  4. These workouts will only strengthen your core and help with the abdominal muscles. They won't do anything to get rid of fat loss so it would be pointless if you're overweight thinking that this will shed the fat. The best way to flatten your stomach is to clean your diet out and do exercises such as running, rowing, cycling and even HIIT training. It takes 10,000 sit up to just burn a pound of fat and you burn around 3 or 4 per minute doing a plank. This vid is completely pointless.

  10. Please forget this exercise if you want to lose weight! This is a great bodyweight core strengthening tool but you can only get rid of the fat by eating cleaner and less than the actual calocic need of your body( no magic pill or exercises). Be strong and good luck!

    To anyone wondering if this works or not:

    The answer is yes and no. These work outs only exercise your abdominal muscles. If you have a low body fat percentage but your stomach still "hangs out" (much like bloating), that specifically means that your abdominal muscles are weak and exercises like the ones described in the video will help you achieve a "flat stomach". This is because as your abdominal muscles strengthen, they will gain in size, strength, and endurance which will naturally "suck in" your stomach, giving you that flat/slim look. If this is you, then I would recommend doing abdominal workouts no more than 3 times a week. Workouts that could include those in this video but can also include any abdominal workout you like, feel free to mix it up every couple weeks. In case anyone is wondering, abdominal workouts should never exceed 15 minutes otherwise your just going to "over train" them which is just wasted effort.

    However, if you do not have a low enough body fat percentage (around 15%-20% for men, 20%-30% for women), then you will see very little results from these workouts. There is no such thing as targeting fat in a specific area to "burn it off" (for example, crunches will not target belly fat instead of thigh or arm fat).

    If you are wanting to know how to lower your body fat percentage (lose weight via fat):

    The overall concept of losing weight is to eat less calories then you burn each day. Simply google "Calorie deficit calculator" to find out approximately how many calories you burn every day. Everyone is different so don't think that these numbers are exact, but it gives you somewhere to start. You need to burn approximately 3,500 calories to lose 1 pound of fat. So a common goal is to eat 500 calories less than what your body needs each day, which means you will shed approximately 1 pound every week (7 days X 500 = 3,500).

    So, if you naturally need 2,200 calories each day to maintain (this number is from the calorie deficit calc, and means that if you eat this exact amount then you will neither gain or lose weight), you simply need to only eat 1,700 calories each day. Easier said then done, I know. But the good news is, you don't have to starve yourself in order to do this. You can actually eat MORE food, it just has to be less calorie-dense foods. You know those $1.00 bags of steamed veggies (mixed veggies, broccoli, etc.) from walmart? Throw one of those bad boys in the microwave and throw a slice of cheese on it and eat it. I assure you, you will not be hungry and guess what? That entire bowl of food that made you go from starving to stuffed is only approximately 230 calories (150ish from veggies, 70-80ish from cheese). If that meal replaced your lunch, you'd be left with almost 1,500 calories for the rest of the day, which is quite a bit.

    Now, you don't have to count every single calorie. Weight loss is about a lifestyle change, not some quick fad diet to lose you the weight (which you will then gain back afterwards). So don't stress out trying to find the lowest calorie thing at the Olive garden when you go to eat out. Instead, be mindful of what you eat and realize that you will need to consume fewer calories the next day.

    The last part of this is exercise. If all you change is your diet but don't exercise, your body will adapt to the fewer amount of calories you provide it and soon, you will stop losing weight. Ever head of a fast/slow metabolism? Yeah, you just slowed it down. There are a few genetic components to "who has a fast or a slow metabolism", but we know now that we can change (to a large extent at least) whether we have a fast or slow metabolism. Basically, we need have a dedicated exercise. What I mean by "dedicated" exercise, is that climbing a flight of stairs instead of taking the elevator doesn't count (although life changes like that help, AKA I would recommend). What I mean, is that you need to set aside 30 minutes each day (more like 45-60 minutes due to any traveling needed and showering), or at least 5 days a week to do a laid out work out. Can you run on a treadmill? Cool, do that. Can't run? Then jog. Can't jog? Then speed-walk. And naturally progress. I would HIGHLY recommend recording your workouts (I use the Notes app on my iPhone to quickly jot down the date and what I did), this way you can look back and see how far you've come. You'd might be surprised that you've found to enjoy your workout.

    As a final side note, if you hate cardio and would prefer weight-lifting instead, that is also an option. Due to this already being an insanely long youtube comment, I wont go into details here, but if you don't mind the concept of gaining weight (in muscle) before you lose weight (in fat), then this could be a good option for you. One can find articles online regarding this (main concept = the more muscle you have, the higher your calorie deficit is, therefore, can still eat a lot of calories and lose fat).

I do every day 60 crunches because thats to easy for fat and birmal person (TO EASY) i lost my fat an the my muscles getting stronger so i needed 15 month for a sixpack. When you have time after school or something then do everyday 60 or more crunches EVERY DAY. It works always.

Please don’t not attempt to do these if you believe or are of weight because it will have unhealthy and harmful effects to your body.
